Lowest of the Whiskeytown Falls

This image was the first falls we encountered, water was quite cold, and it was a very peaceful place, even with others there as well.

Second of the Whiskeytown Falls

Here is the second of the falls, it appears to be the final drop of this cascade into a pool.

The upper part of the cascade into the second of the falls

This image is the cascade above the second falls. If you look carefully in the previous image, you can see the large log that is central in this photo.

Third of the Whiskeytown Falls

The third falls, with the a very clear pool at the bottom. In the background, you can see the area that we scaled to get to the fourth of the falls.

Fourth of the Whiskeytown Falls

This was the fourth of the falls, and from what we were told, the top. We didn't venture beyond this one, as I had just been stung by a yellow jacket ( some call them a meat bee ) and it was getting late. I do think it was worth the hike into the Falls, and the climbing of the slippery rocks. About a 2 mile trek in, and according to the GPS, we were zig-zagging most of the way.
