Just A Geek

(an original poem with a familiar beat)
by BrandyLin

I'm just a geek
A geek you see,
I'm just a geek,
So let me be.

I do not fit in here or there
I do not fit in anywhere.
Not  by the pool,
Not in my school.
Not in the gym
Not for a swim
Not at the Mall
Or playing ball.
I do not fit in
You can see.
I do not fit in society.

My hair's a mess
And so's my desk
But that's ok
I have no guests.

So with my `puter
I will stay
Typing through
The night and day.

Someday perhaps
I'll chance to meet
Another someone
Who's a geek
And when I do
I'll surely find
That he's another
Of my kind.
We'll spend some hours
At my place
Computers entwined
In cyber space
Networks linking
Hearts together.
Here we'll spend
Our lives forever.
